Vintage 1966 Gibson SG Special Cherry

This players example is in excellent overall condition for a guitar that has been on this earth for nearly 60 years - the fretwork is level and the neck is true, while playability is effortless up and down the rich Brazilian Rosewood fretboard.

At one point in this guitars life there was a vibrola/bigsby installed, and the previous owner had those holes filled and refinished in order to bring this guitar to the clean state it's in today. Because the previous owner wanted the best playing experience possible, the electronics have been updated to all-new Gibson electronics and a new Gibson lightning-bar wraparound tailpiece with all-new gotoh tuners that maintain the same look and vibe as the original tuners, but keep far better tuning! 

This guitar has had no headstock breaks nor any body cracks in its life, so this example is truly a clean one. Weighing in at 5 lbs, 15 oz, this would make a great addition to any collection.
