A worthy descendent of the tweed-style American amps of yesteryear, the Mesa/Boogie Fillmore 50 delivers a gorgeous range of tone, ranging from soft-clipped to overdriven saturation. This tube-fired combo houses a 12AX7-loaded preamp section, bolstered by a 6L6-fueled power section, pumping 50 watts of Class AB pentode might through two Celestion G10 Creamback speakers. Too loud for you? No problem — the Fillmore 50 includes a 25-watt triode setting, enabling you to achieve rafter-shaking tones at neighbor-friendly volumes. This top-caliber amplifier features two fully independent, footswitchable channels, complete with 3-mode channel cloning for a truly expansive tonal palette. Moreover, each channel showcases its own dedicated 3-band EQ and Gain, Presence, Reverb, and Master controls. You also get a tube-driven, long-tank spring reverb that you can apply to each channel independently and a fully buffered, series effects loop. A humble tribute to the renowned bicoastal venues that showcased the Grateful Dead, Jimi Hendrix, Miles Davis, Led Zeppelin, Jefferson Airplane, B.B.
