The 814ce LTD Cocobolo combines a solid Sitka spruce top with back and sides of solid cocobolo, a tropical hardwood in the rosewood family sourced from central Mexico. Cocobolo’s vivid red hues make it a visual showstopper, while its sonic personality adds a distinctive twist to the 814ce voice.

Players can expect spruce’s natural clarity and projection to mesh smoothly with cocobolo’s crisp trebles, vibrant midrange and a touch of extra low-end resonance for balance. Inside, Taylor's new scalloped V-Class bracing enhances the low-end warmth while boosting overall volume and sustain. Other premium features include Taylor's long-tenon Action Control Neck, offering improved tonal transfer and precise micro-adjustability, along with Taylor's new Claria acoustic electronics, which feature an intuitive mid-contour control for easy, versatile tone shaping. 

Aesthetic details include a radiused rosewood armrest, maple body binding with black and rosewood edge trim, abalone rosette, mother-of-pearl shell Element inlays, smoked nickel tuning machines, ebony bridge pins with green abalone dots, rosewood pickguard and full-body gloss finish with a shaded edgeburst on the back and sides.
