The Mesa Boogie Subway TT-800 Lightweight 800W Bass Head celebrates Mesa’s half-century of building custom amps, returning to Randall Smith’s original Bass 400 tube design, refining it and blending it with Mesa’s beloved Subway preamp and Class D output section to create an amazing 2-channel bass amp that can take you from home to the studio to the club to the arena. Bassists at Sweetwater think of the TT-800 as a “Greatest Hits” package that gives you the best of vintage and modern Mesa designs in one sleek, lightweight, hybrid bass head.

  • Foot-switchable, 2-channel, Class A vacuum tube preamplifier with Tri-Tube topology, 3 x 12AT7 tubes
  • Class D power section with 8, 4, or 2 ohm Impedance Switch
  • 800W @ 4 or 2 ohms; 400W @ 8 ohms
  • Channel One (Boogie Channel) with Input Gain, variable Highpass filter (25Hz–125Hz), passive 3-band EQ with Bass, Mid with variable Mid-Shift control, Treble, and Master Volume
  • Channel Two (Subway Channel) with Input Gain, variable Highpass filter (25Hz–125Hz), fully active 3-band EQ (±12dB Bass, Mid, Treble) with sweepable Midrange frequency control (150Hz–2kHz), and Master Volume
  • Play/Mute switch; High/Low Gain switch: Deep switch; Bright switch
  • Channel/Footswitch select switch
  • Global O/D Symmetry control (variable, symmetrical to asymmetrical)
