The Ibanez Paul Gilbert Signature PGM50 is designed from the ground up to meet Paul’s exacting specs, boasting an incredibly lightweight American basswood body that beams with resonance and sustain. As befitting a virtuoso of Paul’s caliber, the PGM50’s 5-piece maple neck and rosewood fingerboard come loaded up with a plethora of high-performance features, including fast-playing medium frets and Ibanez’s Premium fret edge treatment for a smooth, friction-less feel. Next, the PGM50’s intensely versatile HSH Trio of Air Classic humbuckers and a middle-position PGM single-coil perfectly reflect Paul’s own genre-defying musical breadth. It’s all finished off with gold-colored hardtail F106 bridge and Gotoh MG-T locking tuners, matched by Paul’s signature faux F-hole finish in a matching golden hue.
